A few other bugs arise with the origin version of a lot of the older games and there are a few ways to fix them, the easiest being bidders fixed launchers. It will break most origin games because origin itself is crap (I am not sorry, I hate origin and I hate that having that active will cause games to crash when it inevitably crashes, even when I installed on a brand new computer that had 0 issues playing any of the games). A few big things, disable the horrible origin interactive in game crap. So because of the added games that you get with it, sure it's worth it.

I have had the ultimate collection for years now, it comes with 17 games for about the price of tiberian twilight alone (which is a horrible game by the way).
